Tuesday 4/10: Today we started our motion and forces unit. The Google Slide presentation is located in the Google Classroom.
Wednesday 4/11: Today we worked on motion practice problems. Thursday 4/12: Today we had a launcher lab with graphing. Friday 4/13: Today we worked on motion graphs. Monday 4/15: Today we discussed the motion graphs and the launcher lab from last week, then we played a graphing game of pictionary in our table tops. Tuesday 4/16: Today we played a motion review game in teams. That was some fierce competition! Wednesday 4/17: Today the students took their quiz on motion and then we had a force reading. Thursday 4/18: Today we did a force lab, and then continued with another force reading and question packet. Friday 4/19: Today we finished our forces reading packet. Monday 4/23: Today we had various forces stations set up around the room and answered questions about those forces and what we observed. Tuesday 4/24: We continued our stations from yesterday. Wednesday 4/25: Today we watched Disney Imagineer video about energy. Thursday 4/26: Today we worked on a PE (potential energy) vs. KE (kinetic energy) activity. Friday 4/27: We continued with our PE/KE activity. Monday 4/30: We finished our PE/KE activity and then took a quiz about it in the Google Classroom. Tuesday 5/1: Today we started an in class roller coaster project. Wednesday 5/2: Finished our RCP today. Thursday 5/3: Today we took energy PPT notes from the Google Classroom, and filled in guided notes. Friday 5/4: Today we had our final weekly warm up quiz, we took an energy quiz and then watched Bill Nye and took notes about simple machines. |
